That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart
that God hath raised Him from the dead,

Message to friends of the Tenants Harbor Baptist Church

Today, we are living in a time of uncertainty and fear. Contrary to public opinion, man does not have all the answers to life’s problems, some things are beyond our ability to control. Science and medicine is an asset; however they are not omniscient nor are they infallible. In times like these, faith and common sense are our best weapons against the unseen. As Christians our trust in God and praying will help us get through it. This is an opportunity for us to share the love of God for those in need.

What does the Bible say concerning fear?
Psalm 46:1-3;
“God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear,
Even though the earth be removed,
And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 Though its waters roar and be troubled,
Though the mountains shake with its swelling.”

In this Psalm we are assured by God that even though the world seems to be self-destructing all around us, God is still our place of safety, a source of security in times of trouble. Trusting in God’s assurance, and believing He is our refuge and strength in times of trouble gives us optimism for the outcome, and alleviates many of our fears.

We unite for worship, teaching of the Scripture and service to each other and our community. We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, seek to live by its precepts, and express the love of God to our community.

We welcome all who would desire to come to worship our Lord and learn with us from His word.  We believe our walk with Christ comes before denomination. Our church family and I extend to you a double invitation to worship with us. ~ Pastor Bill ~
